Wine Cheese & RVing!


Thanks to everyone who attended our 1st "Meet the Manager Wine and Cheese Party" ! The turn out was so great that we plan on hosting several more through out the year. We had Kamper's from Alaska, Maine, California, New York etc. They all loved the Blackberry Wine and the Hush Wine (Blush). Join us next time! See you there!

2010 CMA Music

2010 CMA Music Festival will take place Thursday through Sunday, June 10-13, in Downtown Nashville and tickets are available now. Tickets for 2010 CMA Music Festival were available to Music Festival attendees during the event and available nationally today. Tickets are selling at a rapid pace, 4.6 percent ahead of 2009 sales figures. Fans are encouraged to order early for best available seating.

2010 Calendar of Events

January 22nd Meet the Manager: Start out the new year with our meet the manager wine and cheese event.

February Superbowl Sunday: Join us for the game on the big screen while you enjoy wings and beer! Let the kids do arts & crafts while you root for your team.

February 12th -14th Valentines Day: Ask us about our Valentines Day specials.

March 17th St. Patrick’s Day: Try your luck at a game of BINGO. Join us for a game of Bingo and Crafts. Try a glass of our green beer and share a toast to spring!

March 19th Southern Pie Weekend: Saturday Evening – Southern pie makers bring your ingredients and make your best pie which will be judged by a pie specialist-Fred. A prize will be awarded for the best recipe. We’ll provide the beverages and the delightful campfire. Let us know at the registration desk if you plan to participate.

April 2th -4th Easter Fun Weekend: Easter Egg Hunt, S’mores, Entertainment event, Cowboy Church Easter Service (offsite), egg toss and many more fun activities for all ages.

April 22nd-25th Earth Day Weekend: Art with nature! We will use nature to create different crafts. We will also have seed planting activities, crafts and food for all ages. KIDS check this out a Potato battery powered clock experiment!

May 5th Cinco de Mayo: Rolled Tacos, chips with salsa and a show. Show is 10 dollars but the food is free!

May 8th Come Camp and Care With Us Weekend: Pay for camping on Friday Night and Saturday night is FREE. Weekend Activities include Pancake Breakfast, S’mores Bonfire, Karaoke, Ice Cream Social, Cook-out, Bingo, Bake Sale, auction, yard sale (bring your unwanted items and donate them to the auction or the yard sale) and Much-Much More. All proceeds go to the Care Camp Kids with Cancer Foundation. Great time to get into the camping mode and to give to the people who need it!

Be sure to book early- this is one of our most popular weekends.

July 23rd-24th Christmas in July: Come join us as Santa stops by our Christmas party to deliver gifts to the kids. There will be games and Christmas carols. We will provide the cookies, and we’ll provide the punch. (Parents, bring a wrapped gift for your child to the office by 3:00PM on Saturday.) Decorate your site for the occasion. Prizes will be awarded.

July 30th Scrapbooking Bring your laptop and saved photos we can build your scrapbook. Learn how to insert photos and what programs to use. August 6th-8th This weekend is for the pets, literally: Dress up your pet (any pet) and receive a free leash. Dress up your pet and yourself and win a free night. We will have a pet walk and a pet “trickathon”.


August 27th -28th Computer classes: Enjoy a lunch provided by the KOA while you receive a few new computer tips. Yes that’s right get ready for a class that helps you understand your computer, especially since your traveling from place to place and some wireless connections are different. Get your questions ready.


September 3rd-6th Labor Day Weekend: Let KOA help you end the summer right with lots of fun for the whole family. Country Music Shows, Karaoke Contest, Pancake Breakfast. Join us for a fun filled farewell to summer celebration. Activities will include horseshoe, and mini-golf tournaments, field games and events, chili cook off, bingo and much-more. Chili Cook-off will be judged so bring your ingredients and your cooking talent for our 2nd annual chili cook-off. Prizes will be awarded. Book early so you don’t miss the fun.


September 24th -26th Dinner & a Movie: Wings, sandwiches and beer. Plus a Movie on the big screen.


October 29th -Oct 3 1st Halloween Weekend: What a Spooktacular Weekend this will be. Join us for our 6th Annual Halloween Weekend. Bring your decorations for the Site Decorating Contest, Costume Contests for all ages, Karaoke Halloween Carnival and Spook House, and some great surprises. Check out the many different Halloween tours like the Haunted Tavern Tour!

December 2010: December is an exciting month in Nashville. Opryland has a spectacular Christmas lights display with carriage rides, Downtown also has Carriage rides, Gray Line Tours offers a Nashville Light’s tour and we offer a great place to stay while you enjoy the various popular Christmas shows. We can help you make show reservations and tour plans.


December 4th- 5th TN Wine Event: TN Wine and Chocolate Event. Join us for a taste of various wines made right here in Tennessee.


December 31st New Year’s Eve: Ring in the New Year with us at our 4th Annual New Year’s Eve Party with Entertainment, Snacks, and Drinks! We’ll have party favors for you and a glass of Champagne or sparkling cider at midnight.
