Holiday Mansion Tours
Experience the traditions of the Jackson family with guides in period costumes as they showcase decorations and holiday trimmings used in the 1800s. Start your tour in the Andrew Jackson Visitor Center with an audio tour of the gallery, museum, grounds, and garden. Holiday tours are offered daily now through January 1.

Wintertime Wagon Tours
For those looking for a unique learning experience, we are happy to announce that our popular interpretive wagon tour will be extended throughout the winter months, giving visitors insight into the winter and holiday activities of the enslaved communities. This half-hour tour of the Hermitage grounds by horse-drawn wagon takes visitors to the First Hermitage where Jackson lived from 1804 to 1821, to the site of the Cotton Gin and Press, to the Field Quarter, and to several archaeological sites associated with slavery and farming.

Tulip Grove Interior Tours
Join an interpreter for an interior tour of Tulip Grove Mansion, home of Jackson's ward and private secretary, Andrew Jackson Donelson. Learn about one of the finest Greek Revival building in Tennessee and the families who lived here during its 130 year history as a private home. Tours are offered Monday through Friday 10am - 2pm.
